Starting in 2025, abstracts supplements from congresses organized by regional societies affiliated with the SBC will be published exclusively in the IJCS.

Supplements from congresses of Departments and Specialized Societies, as well as the Brazilian Congress of Cardiology and the Cardiology Departments Meeting, should be published in the Arquivos Brasileiros de Cardiologia (ABC Cardiol).

Regional societies and departments that have their own journals should give priority to publishing in their respective journals. Alternatively, they may choose to publish in the IJCS.

We recommend that interested parties get in touch via the email address revistaijcs@cardiol.br, at least 30 days before the event, indicating their interest in publishing abstract supplements, including details such as the event name, presentation location and date.

The requester must handle the layout of the supplements according to the provided template (in .indd format – InDesign) and fonts provided by the editorial department of SBC. The graphic design cannot be altered under any circumstances.

The editorial department of SBC should receive the formatted document in PDF format via email 7 days prior to the event date for verification.

The requester is responsible for making any necessary adjustments and returning the adjusted PDF for the final verification by the editorial department. If no further changes are needed, the editorial department of SBC will proceed with publishing the supplement on the journal’s website.

It is recommended to publish the supplement in the same month as the event takes place.
