• Collaborator of the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program at CHLO, Oeiras/Portugal (2023-). Medical Director of the Lisbon Coronary Club of the Faculty of Human Kinetics, Cruz Quebrada/Lisbon/Portugal (1992-).
• Coordinator of Cardiology at the CUF Belém/Lisbon Clinic (2023/Jan-).
• Associate Editor of the IJCS, area of Exercise Physiology and Cardiac Rehabilitation (2019-).

• Director of the Cardiology Service of CHLO, Oeiras/Portugal, 2010-2023.
• Visiting Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Lisbon/Nova Medical School, 2012-2023.
• President of the College of Cardiology of the Portuguese Medical Association, 2017-2023.
• President of the Portuguese Society of Cardiology, 2015-2017.
• Responsible for the Cardiac Rehabilitation program at Hospital de Santa Cruz/CHLO (2016 – 2023) and at Instituto do Coração/Carnaxide/Portugal (1988-2022).
• Chairperson of the Cardiac Rehabilitation Section of the ESC – European Association for Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation (2005-2007).
