Call for Papers! Thematic Collection on Artificial Intelligence in Cardiovascular Health

The International Journal of Cardiovascular Sciences is pleased to invite Brazilian and international researchers to submit articles for the thematic collection on Artificial Intelligence in Cardiovascular Health, which will be edited by Dr. Erito Marques de Souza Filho and Dr. Roberto Botelho and published in 2025.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming medicine, bringing both opportunities and challenges. Its impact on cardiovascular health is becoming increasingly evident, influencing diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of cardiovascular diseases. This landscape opens new perspectives for precision medicine and has the potential to enhance care efficiency and generate value in health.
The aim of this thematic collection is to gather high-quality articles that contribute to the advancement of knowledge on the use of AI in cardiovascular health. Submissions are especially welcome in the following areas:
- AI applications in diagnostic screening of cardiovascular diseases
- AI models for cardiovascular risk assessment • Development of AI-assisted technologies for cardiac procedures
- Impact of AI on clinical decision-making and personalized care for cardiovascular patients
- Economic and ethical analyses of AI use in cardiovascular health
- Studies on the integration of AI into health systems and its influence on patients’ quality of life
- Integration of AI with other disruptive tools, such as telemedicine
- AI and electronic health records
- AI and medical law
- AI applications in education and research
- Generative AI and its applications
Original articles, review articles, and case reports will be accepted. The final submission deadline is December 1st, 2024.
