The International Journal of Cardiovascular Sciences (IJCS) is seeking a volunteer Assistant Editor to support the Editor-in-Chief in the journal’s editorial activities. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career individuals in the cardiovascular health field who wish to develop editorial skills and contribute to the advancement of science in this area, as well as engage in the journal’s outreach activities.

Main Responsibilities:

• Support in the review of scientific articles;
• Collaboration in the screening of manuscript submissions;
• Monitoring the peer-review process;
• Creating content for the journal’s social media (such as posts about articles, events, and relevant news);
• Promoting the journal and its publications on digital platforms and other communication channels.

Requirements:

• Undergraduate studies in progress in a health-related field;
• Interest in science, research, editorial activities, and digital communication;
• Proficiency with text editing tools, spreadsheets, and social media platforms;
• Ability to communicate clearly, objectively, and creatively.
