The International Journal of Cardiovascular Science (IJCS) has reached an important milestone in its journey by achieving its first impact factor. After being indexed in Scopus in 2022, IJCS has now received recognition from Scimago (SJR 2022) with an impact factor of 0.131 (Q4).

The Scimago Journal Rank (SJR) is a metric developed by Scimago Lab that assesses the influence and impact of scientific journals. The SJR consider not only the number of citations received by an article but also the importance of the journals that made those citations.

In this regard, the fact that IJCS has obtained an impact factor is an important recognition of its quality and contribution to cardiovascular science.
